Job Description

The Head HR will lead and facilitate a highly effective, strategic HR function that ensures the organization has the structure, inclusive culture and diverse talent needed to deliver on organizational goals and effectively serve our objectives.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Operations:

Provide HR support to leaders of all levels including technical HR advice in response to management issues, capacity building, succession planning, emergency preparedness and response, policy inquiries, regular review of HR policies and procedures for the organization, orientation, employee relations issues, recruitments and exit management.

Build knowledge, expertise, and capacity of the HR and management team.

Ensure effective adaptation at all levels, ensuring compliance with local laws.

Lead, empower and mentor the HR team, including communicating clear expectations, setting performance objectives, providing regular and timely constructive performance feedback, and leading documented semi-annual performance reviews, inspiring maximum potential.

Functional & Strategic HR Management:

Direct and supervise the collaborative development of annual human resource strategic plans in the areas of workforce planning; talent management; recruitment; compensation and benefits; and organizational policies and practices.

Partner with leaders and staff in creating an environment in which the values and best practices promoting diversity, and inclusion are reflected in our work with communities, management decisions, and throughout the employee experience.
Collaborate with organizational leadership team to identify gaps in departments and organizational structures while ensuring timely hiring and development of the right talent.

Make Organization wise departmental and designation wise grading system and hierarchy.

Performance and Talent Management:

  • Developing and implementing organizational performance management system to ensure organizational goals are met, employees are evaluated with highest level of engagement and people are rewarded as per merit.
  • Develop and lead the Performance management system, KPI’s evaluation and assist the Board on HR management.
  • Educate Employees on PMS and KPI’s.
  • Direct development and delivery of training and capacity building efforts, using e-learning and remote management. Identify and engage internal and external resources to provide timely and effective technical assistance. Coordinate and deliver HR trainings and workshops.

HCM and HR Automation:

  • Work with ERP and IT Teams for automation of HR function and implement HCM for better employee experience and to promote data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure ERP deployment on the given timelines and suggest changes on timely basis when and where required.
  • Lead the HCM Champion training within the department and make an HCM All Star team.
  • Ensuring world class employee experience is given to employees through HCM implementation for better employee engagement.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Master in HR/Equivalent degree with any Certification of Job Analysis & Job Evaluation
  • 10 to 15 years of progressive professional HR experience with a minimum of 5 years as a manager or equivalent education and experience.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting key senior management and building strong, trusted relationships.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills including coaching, mentoring, performance management and delivering individual and group training.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, and training and development.
  • Strong collaborator with effective interpersonal and analytical skills who can work seamlessly across countries, cultures, and organizational units required.
